This year's Green Talks will be host to a mini-keynote address on sustainable purchasing by Tim Reeves, President of Reeve Consulting and Founder of Municipal Collaboration for Sustainable Purchasing.
Then enjoy our rapid-fire Green Talks segment, where speakers will present fast, engaging and interesting 5-minute talks on an array of environmental topics. Presenters will discuss everything from composting and triple bottom lines to urban farming and retrofits.

Tim Reeve – With over 25 years of experience, Tim has earned his reputation as a leading sustainability practitioner and industry spokesperson, and is seen as one of Canada’s leading authorities on responsible sourcing and sustainable supply chains.
As President of Reeve Consulting, Tim has led the creation and implementation of many of Canada’s most innovative social, ethical, and environmental purchasing programs – for clients ranging from the Province of BC, the 2010 Olympic Games, and the City of Mississauga, to Lululemon, Vancity Credit Union, and London Drugs. Other recent engagements include acting as an advisor to UN Environment on sustainable consumption and production, developing a sustainability program for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, and coordinating the MCSP – a collaborative network dedicated to promoting best practices in social and environmental procurement for the public sector.
Tim has travelled throughout the world as a keynote speaker, conference presenter and course lecturer speaking on sustainability trends, supply chain management, and sharing industry insights. Recently, he has presented at the Province of BC’s Procurement Community of Practice 2017 Conference (Victoria, BC), the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council’s 2017 Summit (Denver, CO), and the Green Public Procurement Training Summit (Beijing, China, 2016), among others.
He lives in English Bay in the West End of Vancouver BC, is a father to a wonderful 15-year-old daughter named Olivia, and is a keen alpine skier and open-water swimmer.
