Are you a young professional serious about your financial future?
Financial Tools 101 is a workshop hosted by the Burnaby Young Professional Network that is designed to get you thinking about financial planning and showcase some financial tools that can help grow your wealth long term. Developing consistent financial habits requires dedication to your goals and knowledge of how various tools can benefit you. This workshop will be a great opportunity for you to learn from some financial planning professionals with your peers.
This event is aimed at individuals under 35 years of age as part of the Burnaby Young Professionals Network.
Key topics that will be covered are:
- Paying yourself first
- Long term investing vs short term speculating
- Tax deferred savings accounts (RRSP & TFSA)
- Your greatest asset: offense and defense in an overall financial security plan
